FEEG Symposium 2017 What is it all about?

This year the Spanish Gemological Institute (IGE) organizes the 20th Symposium of the Federation of European Education in Gemmology (FEEG) and the ceremony awarding the Diplomas of European Gemmologist, which will coincide with the events of the 50th anniversary.

For this reason, on the 17, 18 and 19 November 2017 various scientific and informative activities have been scheduled, in which all partners of the FEEG and fans of Gemmology are invited to participate.

This celebration also coincides with the Second Edition of ExpoGema, the first Spanish fair related to the field of Gemmology.

In December 1985, UNESCO included on its list of Heritage Cities the "Old City of Segovia and its Roman Aqueduct". There was no shortage of reasons, since the beauty of its location, its environment, its buildings, groves and streets seems to weigh in a decision that is based precisely on those values. Its location, just an hour and a half from Madrid makes it an excellent option to visit. For this reason, the IGE proposes this full-day excursion to Segovia as another of its activities within the celebration of its 50th anniversary.

* This visit will be only scheduled if there are enough people interested. Registration is required.
